Our new exhibition in the Nelson Monument has been open to the public since April 1st, but on April 5th we issued a press release, and invited the cameras to the Nelson Monument. This was lots of fun. We got ROE Astronomer Alastair Bruce (who is also an actor!) to dress up as CPS himself, and pose with his sextant. The press loved that!
The six o’clock news on STV that night featured Alastair/Charles, along with short interviews by Andy Lawrence and Bruce Vickery. Then over the following day, various pieces came out. Here is a selection of the online versions.
