Public Lecture by Denis Pellerin

On September 3rd we are excited to present a public lecture by Denis Pellerin, from the London Stereoscopic Company, entitled Piazzi Smyth: Royal Astronomer and Pioneer of Stereo Photography. Denis is the archivist for the huge collection of stereo photographs amassed over many years by Brian May, and will tell us about the Victorian craze, Piazzi Smyth’s role within it, and the modern revival of stereo photography. He will hand out special glasses for the audience to enjoy live demonstrations of stereo imaging.

The lecture will be followed by a wine and nibbles reception.
